NOJOS Help was created by a Utah parent whose family has firsthand experience navigating Utah’s juvenile-justice and NOJOS treatment systems.

I created this site because families entering these systems often have little accessible information about what to expect, what questions to ask, or where important decisions may lead. My goal is to share what I learned, explain commonly used processes and terminology, and help other parents approach the system better informed.

NOJOS Help is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, operated by, sponsored by, or endorsed by NOJOS, the NOJOS organization, or any NOJOS-approved provider. It should not be treated as an official source of NOJOS policies or guidance.

I am not an attorney or mental-health professional, and this site does not provide legal or clinical advice. Some articles reflect personal experience and opinion; others discuss publicly available laws, policies, court decisions, and professional materials.
